Govt retains 25 as drinking age for Delhi
New Delhi: Faced with an election year, the Delhi government stopped short of lowering the drinking age to 21 on Monday even as it approved the Delhi Excise Bill, 2007. Retaining 25 as the age for drinking in public, the government, however, allowed women bartenders to serve liquor commercially, also at 25.
